Downtown at “The Old Pueblo” is the Place to Be

By Francisco Romero

The Covid-19 pandemic has had the world paralyzed for more than a year and the City of Tucson; Arizona is no exception.

However, since the end of last year we have seen the light at the end of the tunnel with mass vaccination around the world, with more than 30 percent of Americans vaccinated, with at least one dose, we are seeing that little by little we are returning to what once we thought was normal.

It is time to make plans and what better way to start our activities in our own community, in “El Viejo Pueblo” in Tucson.

A good start to clear our minds and eat, drink, and enjoy must be Tucson Downtown, where there is activity for the whole family during the day and continues at night for all those who like the nightlife.

Here are the Top 3 places you must visit in downtown Tucson.

1. Main Gate Square

With a variety of restaurants and bars across the street from the University of Arizona, it is a place to enjoy.

2. Historic Fourth Avenue

It is a must visit with a variety of restaurants and nightlife for the young and old. During the day you can visit the unique shops from jewelry to vintage clothing shops.

3. Congress Street

A can’t miss stretch of downtown that will take you from an historic theater to a modern restaurant, from the mystic Hotel Congress to the spectacular downtown murals.

Start living again, start today.
